The Cuban Manolin Guillot Castellano who studied in La Salle Catholic School of Havana; graduated from the Professional School of Commerce; a student of the Greenbrier Military Academy of West Virginia, USA; and Social Sciences of the University of Havana; he began to conspire so soon as he realized the communist character of the Cuban revolutionary government from 1959.

Chronology:

Manolin enters in the Christian Democratic Movement, and when its National Coordinator is exiled, Manolin stays in charge of the movement.

On February 5, 1960, Manolin was one of those that rejects openly the communist Armenian and Vice-first Minister of the Soviet Union, Anastas Mikoyan (murder of the Hungarian people). The protest was made in Havana's central park, when Mikoyan went to deposit flowers on the statue of Marti accompanied by the Cuban government members.

Because he is pursued by the G2 (Cuban State Security Police), he goes for exile.

In the United States, Manolin gives up his position in the Christian Democratic Movement, and enters the recently organized Movement of Revolutionary Recovery (MRR), under the Military Coordinator's position.

Also for those months, the Democratic Revolutionary Front had been founded (parasol of almost all the bigger Cuban anti-Communist organizations), and they name him in charge of the Meeting of Recruitment. The Democratic Revolutionary Front (FRD), was the one that prepared the Invasion, known later as the Invasion of Bay of Pigs.

On December 9, Manolin enters Cuba infiltrated, and with Rogelio (Francisco) Gonzalez Corso the Military Coordinator of the FRD, study the area for where the B2606 will disembark.

Manolin returns to the USA with the information, and before the invasion of Bay of Pigs, in April of 1961 he infiltrates Cuba again.

On April 19 Manolin Guillot is captured in one of the movement's security houses, due to the massive hauls that are made by the communist regime. More than a quarter of a million Cubans were captured in the whole Island in those days, due to the Invasion of Bay of Pigs.

After 29 days a prisoner and interrogated, on May 9 Manolin is left free, he is not identified by the regime.

Manolin looks for refuge in an embassy, and in June he abandons the asylum of this embassy with the purpose of continuing fighting. Again on the streets of Havana, he was informed of all the details that happened with the Invasion, so he decides to return to the U.S.

On December 29, 1961, he again enters Cuba secretly, and after organizing the cells of resistance that he could, he returns to exile, April 19, 1962.

In a few days, on May 1, 1962, Manolin returns to Cuba infiltrated, and learns that almost all his fighting partners have been captured. Manolin practically had no place to hide and the G2 was behind him.

On May 29, when Manolin finished hearing mass at church, (he was a fervent Catholic), he was betrayed and was captured in one of the movement's security houses.
